Catching up

Last Saturday I spent the day with the Pelham Quilters teaching Beginner Free Motion Quilting.  We had a terrific day.

Speeding violations were issued here and there.

Each quilter moved at her own pace.  One gals puppy decided that hiding her newly purchased free motion quilting foot would be fun.  Even though she missed a couple of hours as a result she did very well.

This last week every spare moment I’ve been working on the t-shirt quilt that I want to deliver next Friday.  I’m ready to start quilting it with a lot of stitching in the ditch.  There will be some other quilting as there is some open space because of the t-shirt sizes.

I’m reworking the tutorial for the bias binding making the directions simpler.  If you’re in Knoxville in July I will be giving a demonstration and tips for making bias during the All-Star Review Saturday afternoon.  If you’re going to be in Knoxville for the AQS show my schedule will be:

Wednesday:  AM – Beginner Machine Quilting      PM – And now What?!

Thursday: all day Let Your Foot Loose Be Fancy & Free

Friday: 12 – 1 Quilting is a Beautiful & Complicated Art

Saturday: AM – Beginner Free Motion Quilting     PM – All Star Review

Happy Quilting!
