“Moon Over Manhattan” goes to Road to California!

gratuitous "Bird of Paradise" pic

Road to California offers the longest opportunity to enter a quilt into their show.  If you enter early, like I did,  it’s a very long time before you hear if your quilt has been juried into the show.  My friend posted several days ago that his quilts were juried in.  I’m always excited when a friends quilt is juried in particularly when I was part of the journey of this particular quilt.  He then told me where on the Road to CA site to check to see if “Moon Over Manhattan” was juried in.  I checked and it was accepted.  Oh my goodness can I say excited?

I waited to post on here until I’d received the official email.  That arrived yesterday.  So I’ll be sending “Moon Over Manhattan” to Upland for the show in January. I mentioned this on facebook and shortly learned that Lisa Sipes will have her quilt,”Be Dazzled” in the show; Tammy Murphy of Colour Me Quilted will have a quilt in the show and Cathy Wiggins will have 2 quilts at Road.  If you happen to go please feel free to share pics!

Have a terrific Thanksgiving!

Happy Quilting!

Teri

  1. I’m going to R2CA for the third time. It’s a fabulous show. A friend and I are making it a retreat tradition. I’ll look for your quilts.
