Blog Give Away

Sunrise outside my dining room window this beautiful Sunday morning.  I love the sunrise/sunset silhouettes.  The variety of color in the sky intrigues me inspiring color choices as I view the next quilt.  The color ebbs and flows along the horizon line accentuated by the hard lines of the houses and power lines.  It’s more amazing that each morning is different as each sky is different.   I’d be fairly certain that sunrise and sunset is where I learned to appreciate the purple/orange color combination that I love so very much.  And I think that I’m developing a deeper appreciation for gray from the color of the clouds in the sky.  The color play is much more subtle than with black or white.

The next couple of weeks I’ll be rather quiet with sharing the quilts I’m working on because each one of them has a specific purpose and tight deadlines.  Each quilt is very different and I’ll share them once I’m able.

I’ve been thinking about the swag from Houston and one of the events from the Quilt Alliance and I’d like to share some of it with you.  So I’m going to have a give away right here on my very own blog.

I’ll be sharing photos over the next few days of  the items starting with the Sashiko and the metallic thread.

I’ll have everyone leave comments once all the items for the give away are posted then I’ll have the drawing on Saturday December 15th.

Happy Quilting!

Teri
