Spring and Autumn are my times of the year.
I love the color.
I love the fragrance.
I love feeling the earth come alive with glorious beauty once again
the tulips start blooming
and daffodils
hyacinths and
dogwoods
the seedum changes color
the mocking birds build a nest in our arbor and serenade us
And I am renewed
And grateful

I love to sit on the porch and read…just spent an hour doing that. A good dose of vitamin D. I feel restored. This is what I waited all winter for. The daffodils are in bud, and I put my perennial planters – karyopteris, sage, rosemary and more, on the porch…ready to leaf out and bloom. I am a different person than I was last week.
