Happy New Year!

Why yes! It is the New Year. My Franklin Planner has some ink including the Brain Dump: Stitch the Scary Stuff in Your Brain at the Quilt Basket in Pawling.

I’m currently working on color wheel number two:
red/orange

green

next up blue, and that will have some green because I found a spool of King Tut that has blue and green in it.

In the bobbin Wonderfil DecoBob (80 weight) then Superior Threads MicroQuilter (100wt) when I ran out of DecoBob. Check out the thread weight vid on this blog post.

I’m posting on Instagram as the stitching progresses.

I’m a doodler, are you? I watched this Ted talk the other day and thought I’d share with you the power of doodling, and how important I’ve found doodling in my life. Doodling does help think through the process of free-motion quilting, it helps train our eye/hand coordination, allowing us to hone our skill.

What I love about doodling is that some really good ideas come from it.

Enjoy your Stitching,

Teri
