Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas dear Ones!

I’d hoped to blog before now. It’s been a very long time since I’ve gone a whole week without sharing something with you. I shared this post on A Quilters Heart that almost catches you up, at least on this last week. While it’s been a bit of a doozie and I’ve missed my machine, my Sweetie and I were where we needed to be.

I’m learning my new job as a Fabric Sales Rep and know that there is so much more to learn and grow into. There is an excitement, and some fear that I’m going to mess up in a big way. Yet somehow I know that there is a lot of support in place for those moments when I need to learn in a big way. I love this part in the opportunity to do what I do and to become more. It’s so much like learning to free motion machine quilt.

For the first time in a couple of weeks I got to do some quilting today, putting the final stitches on this piece of quilted fabric which will become my BuJo cover as soon as I get the whole thing figured out. I have an idea, a zipper, some hardware and some time. I want to have it done by the beginning of the year. I have a new journal that says “I’ll make better mistakes tomorrow” on the cover that will be delightfully hidden kind of a for my eyes only bit of fun.

I’m planning on a couple of pockets to hold things like pens and scissors. We’ll see how everything turns out. I’ve got some limited time this week to do a whole lot of stuff.
So I’m off to celebrate the day with my Sweetie, do a little movie watching, quilting, and the defensive driving course. Yep, that just got added.

Merry Christmas,
Teri
