So Quilt Market. Wow.
So many moments of Gratitude. So many. This will not be in any way complete however this full heart can not help but express the gratitude, an honor, I’ve experienced. This Quilt Market has been amazing.
There are so many people to thank both directly and indirectly. First up my Sweetie, who has understood the importance of being at each one and shoved me through that door to attending. Debby Brown I’m grateful forever for our friendship, there is so much in that thought it’s difficult to write.
Bob and Rhianna in the Communications Office for Quilts, Inc you both make being here a lot of fun.
Amy Barret-Daffin, Gailen Runge, Roxane Cerda, and the entire team at C&T I am really looking forward to the book release next year. There are not enough words.

I’ve written lists like this before and the risk is leaving people out without any malice or intention on my part. In January when I do the cover reveal for the book. I’ll share a little bit more of some of the meetings at Market soon. Some will have to wait for a bit because it’s just not time to share. I’m really excited and so so grateful.
I had a moment to stop by the Superior Threads booth to talk with Heather Purcell also known as Mother Superior. I’m so glad I did. Sometimes you know a quilt your making doesn’t belong to you. I gave Heather this small quilted piece. Don’t worry it’s actually got binding on it and looks good. She knows her product, spending a moment pointing out each one.
I got to talk with Heidi Kaisand and Roseann Kermes of American Quilt Retailer for a few moments. Heidi owns Hens and Chicks Quilt Studio located in Conrad, and Roseann owns Rosebud’s Cottage in White Bear Lake Minnesota. Heidi worked with American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine at the very beginning. These women know this industry and are learning more every single day. If you are a shop owner AQR is a great publication to have. I’m looking forward to their Market issue.
I heard great things about Threads of Success and will have a guest blogger here as soon as she’s able to share her experience. I enjoyed each deep conversation with dear friends. As soon as I can I’ll be sharing a few lines that I saw that made me go all weak in the knees, I need to reach out to the marketing people and get the images I need for the posts.
Most of all thank you for continuing to read this blog and taking classes when available. There are a few things that will be going on the calendar when things are completely firmed up.
