Good morning dear quilterly friends!
As soon as I can get to my desktop (after next Friday when I’m cleared to do the stairs) I have 3 amazing quilters as guest bloggers – Rayna Gilman, Jeannie Sumrall-Ajero & Michelle Foster of Quilting Gallery lined up. Rayna & Jeannie’s blogs will be interview style. Michele will take a different approach. I’m very grateful to each one of these quilters for taking the time to work with me on these blogs.
I’d been following Mickey DePre and another quilter on their journeys. They have both been very supportive through this experience. Overall I’m doing really well. No pain meds since Friday, I’m walking around well – slowly – but well and overall feeling fine. Sneezing & coughing require a pillow and of course the pillow is usually on the love seat I’m coughing or sneezing.
Happy Quilting!
Teri
Glad to hear the healing is coming along. On a side note – I find it interesting that you have been drawing and designing vessels since you got home. Art moves in mysterious ways! 🙂
Had not even thought about that Stephanie. I like it though! 🙂
I had forgotten about your surgery, glad to hear healing is coming along. It may be slower than you like, but as long as it goes in the right direction it is good. Keep sketching away, you may get a few new designs to work on from it.
Speedy recovery,
Jayne
Me too!! Feel better! And just think, no more monthly visitor!!!!!
Sending wishes for a continued and speedy recovery!! Heck of a time of the year not to be able to sneeze or cough, so if you are going out these days, bundle up well.
Can’t wait to see what you and Michelle have up your sleeves!
So glad that you are doing well! I am loving the coffee mugs!
So glad to hear you are coming along and thanks for sharing; I may be facing this surgery this year. As you know, it helps when you are not alone, Take care and feel better, Pat
Teri, I did not know about your surgery. I am glad it sounds like you are getting all well. I had a radical hysterectomy five years ago and after the first little bit, I found the recovery time actually fun (because I didn’t feel like I should be up doing something else)…watching old movies, drawing, reading books, catching up on my magazines, doing some handwork. I hope you relax and enjoy the remaining part of your recovery and feel better and better as each day progresses. Then ease back into full activity slowly. Love the coffee mugs! Will they be part of a new quilt?
Teri, happy to hear you are recovering nicely. Take care of yourself and don’t push yourself. Its nice to be waited on once in a while. Hope everything went well and everythiing is good, Elaine
