In a few weeks I’ll be teaching And Now What?! at Machine Quilters Exposition in Providence, RI. This class has a twofold purpose 1) learning how to practice without ever taking a stitch and 2) to discuss your quilts and what motifs and thread will work over the surface of the quilt. There’s still plenty of room in the class.
This is one of the motifs we’ll go over in class.
It’s one of my favorite motifs to stitch out with different thread weight and colors, each snail motif is so unique!
I hope to see you in Providence!
Teri
PS I’m going to be bringing Staten Island Sunset with me to the Bernina Booth Friday of that week, come and see me stitching on the next quilt in the City Series
It is so awesome! I quilted for the first time with Kimono silk this weekend. wonderful!
Wow, Teri…it;s beautiful!!! I can see why the snail motif is one of your favorites…it has such a nice twisty curl and you do it so well. Cheers.
Maggie, Kimono silk is just well, wonderful describes it well!
BJ Thanks! The photo of the inside of the snail shell really inspired me. 🙂
