Well friends welcome once again to the next season of The Book Report. Today I get to chat with Cyndi McChesney about her newest book: Playful Panel Quilts

One of the things that I love so much is that Cyndi reveals something really cool about panels: they have the potential to be the starting point for a quilt.

One of the tools we both love is the Quilt Builder Card Deck. In and of itself the Card Deck is a source of inspiration and I love it because it makes building a quilt easy and fun. The cards have the math for a variety of sizes of blocks done for you and because these are in color and grayscale it is easier to see where bits and pieces of a panel can be swapped in for pieces of a quilt block.

Comment by next Monday May 20, 2024 what your favorite block is and I’ll draw a name for a copy of the e-book.

Happy Quilting!

Teri

  1. I enjoyed the interview and it looks like a great book. My favorite block is the Log Cabin because you can make so many different designs by varying the placement of the light and dark sides or using wide and narrow strips.
