Foundations in Free-Motion includes piecing where cutting, thread and moderate speed on the machine guide us into good stitching and prepare us for the free-motion we’ll do over the next few weeks.
Color Theory for Quilt Makers Color Theory covers the basics and I recommend tools that I love and think are necessary as we grow in confidence in quilt making.

Binding Options for Quilt Makers
we have choices people! we have choices to bind our quilts from a simple double zig-zag to a multi-layer binding we can have ALL the fun adding a delightful extra touch to our quilts. Follow the links for all the class information day & time, as well as supplies lists and sign-up details.
I’d love to have you join in on the fun in each one of these classes. For January/February I’m going to add a color wheel class and a design your own whole cloth style of class.
In August I’m visiting the Crossroads to Texas Quilt Guild. It is always an honor to present at a guild. I’ll also start back at Poppy Quilt N Sew in August/September.
Sometimes creativity goes on an extended hiatus or takes a different path than the one we’re accustomed to. This has happened several times over the thirty plus years of quilt making. Right now I’m flirting with this quilt and we’re enjoying each other’s company. Watch my Instagram @terificreations for updated images as they happen.
