Color Play – Joen Wolfrom

Let’s Begin

Do you know how you know something in your life is missing and you can’t quite put your finger on it and then when you discover what it is and then you discover why it is then what you needed is right there and WOW!!!
Color Play is it! (Links are affiliate)

And then when I realized that Joen’s book explained so much, I realized something more about C&T’s Studio Color Wheel and the why we need this color wheel.
This color wheel is based on CMYK (Cyan, magenta, yellow with good reason.
Color number 1 is yellow and I’m here for it.

In Joen’s words I’m reminded that color is a poem that we get to write and express the beauty that resides within us. That in few or many colors we get to tell the story of our quilt making prowess. And that this grows over time.

In early August I will post the first of a series of conversations with Joen on my YouTube channel.

The view from the cutting/computer table. Here is an exploration of color in a slightly newish way. More on that in a future post.

Have a fabulous day!
