A post in three parts
One. I love teaching color.
Color is delightful, beautiful, complicated, simple, personal, unique, common, playful, as delightfully messy as mud and as wildly clean as rainbows after a summer storm.
There are several things I’m doing with color right now:
Showing the remake of Split Complementerity on the great pict-o-gram of the quiltiverse. To keep all blocks in order as I stitch I’ve fallen deeply in love with leaders & enders:
I’m teaching a color theory class through John C Campbell on Lessonface. We are coming into week three and I’m enjoying it so much.
I’m also playing with some Marcia Derse and Tara Faughnan fabrics. Whoop!
Well, then Tracy Mooney @sewsupportive has a YouTube Channel & a Patreon. Just in time for Valentines Day she posted a video of a quilt she and Michelle Freedman worked on together for Maywood Studios.

We all need a heart quilt and The Heart Pop Quilt is the one I’ll make sometime soon. Like after all the split complement blocks are pieced together and ready for me to quilt. I do not NEED a heart quilt, but I NEED a heart quilt.
And finally: Happy Blogversary to TerifiCreations. I’ve been blogging with WordPress for 18 years. Um. Where did that time go? Here’s the first post on here. Next week I’ll share a couple of my favorite posts.
Happy Quilting,
Teri
