That sharing them is an honor.
Members of the Village Squares Quilters responded to a call to make a comfort quilt for Susan, whom I’m chairing the quilt show with. Susan was diagnosed, had breast cancer surgery, radiation and is now in the process of healing. Mary Anne has a photo on her blog of the quilt (scroll down towards the end of the post).
I snapped this picture:
Mary Anne quilted it and I had the privilege of piecing and presenting the quilt to Susan.
For me participating in making comfort quilts is quite an honor. I’m very grateful to my husband for making this quilt possible by making dinner several nights in a row so that I could get this done in time for Mary Anne to quilt and have it ready for the guild meeting.
Happy Quilting!
