AQS Lancaster is just a few short days away and I get to see this beauty hanging in the show:
Oh, confession time…a couple of years ago right before I went to tape with Quilting Arts TV a couple of quilters came in to the shop where I work asking if I’m the same Teri Lucas. I said no. *Shaking head in shame* The only reason I said no at the time is because I hadn’t told anyone at work yet that I was going to do the taping. I’m embarrassed that I did that…
These 2 quilters have come in a few more times to the shop and I love working with them choosing fabrics for classes they’re taking. Thank you! I enjoy working with you choosing fabrics. Ladies, bring your magazines in next trip through and I’ll sign them for you.
I’m looking forward to teaching at the Creative Sewing Center (scroll down 1/2 way) in Auburn, ME Sunday April 3rd from 10 – 4. If you live near Auburn and would like to take the class please contact Creative Sewing 207-782-5922.
I’ll be visiting MQX East on April 16th for the show and to pick up “Twilight in the Bronx”. I’d go earlier however I’m teaching Paper Piecing a New York Beauty Fridays April 8, 15 & 22 at Hartsdale Fabrics. There is still room in the class.
“When Alex & Jinny met in NY, Beauty Happened” is hanging in the shop on the left side (next to the Bernina 830) when you walk into the shop. We’ll be making one of the quilts from the book over the 3 week class. If you’d like to have a setting like this we can talk about it. The quilt will be in the shop a little while longer. I’m teaching Beginner Free motion Machine Quilting in May and Advanced Machine Quilting in June.
I’m working on a couple of designs with Marcus Brothers (this goes over to Floralane) as soon as they’re out I’ll post pics and link over. The fabrics are amazing.
