As I perused the blog scene this morning I realized I hadn’t visited Joe-the-quilter in a while. Joe is a hand quilter, teaches, plays piano and probably a lot more. I’d love to have him come east and give a few classes or workshops.
When I saw this post my breath drew in. I love quilts like this, quilts that have a story and have survived the years. The Gee’s Bend quilts are in Philly for a while, I’m going to have to take a trip.
