Red…
As I finished the purple I started to give consideration to the next color…the blue was too similar, the green I have too light and so red just seemed to work.
for inquiring minds: the quilt is about 44 x 44, so its small and I can work quickly moving from diamond to diamond, I spray basted a cotton batting to the back to add stability to the piece as I work and will be cutting away where there isn’t any stitching then adding some other fabric to the mix and finally quilting it.
I’m not currently teaching this quilt as it’s brand spanking new, however I would be willing to give a class if anyone is interested.
