As of this moment I am sitting in the lobby of the Westin waiting for a sales meeting at 6 PM local time here in Houston . Debby Brown and I met up with Shari Cifaldi-Morrill at the airport this morning. The flight was easy and uneventful, a good flight indeed. Quilt Market is one of my happy places, it is home. I’m excited, and still honored to be here sharing in part of the quilting world where passions flow, and the continuum of creativity flows deeply

I was up late last night finishing a quilt for Tiffany Hayes of Needle in a Hayes Stack. I’ll get a picture of the full quilt a little later and share it either here or on Instagram. Stay Tuned. I also finished a 12” square piece on Benartex Superior Solids.
As you might know I have fabric preferences. Years ago while working at a quilt shop I made the jump from the well known brand of solids to Northcott when that shop brought them in. What an incredible difference. At Spring Market Benartex introduced Superior Solids, which this piece is stitched on. I am smitten. I will use Northcott, Benartex, and Michael Miller Solids any day of the week in any project I’m working on. There are a coupe of others that I like and will use, however these are my top three. I will let you know that in my upcoming book Michael Miller is featured, in part because at the time I had better contacts. Shocking I know.
I’m off to attend the sales meeting.
Happy Stitching,
Teri
