The last week has been a bit busier than I thought it would be, so I didn’t get to post this a second time. Today is Virtual Quilt Market and I’m presenting on Building the Quilt Shop Community. I’ve learned how to, and updated Zoom for the presentation. I need to remember to turn off all notifications so they don’t pop up during. Can you imagine seeing a popup alert letting you know that I have email from one of the big box stores, or a friend with a subject line like, “No, No Fabric for you”. My friends wouldn’t really do that but ya never know.
Yesterday Tracy Mooney, Lori Baker, Ginger Sheey-Tatic and I had a conversation premiering on the Quilt & Tell Podcast talking about Color, Thread, and Free-Motion Quilting. I gotta tell you the tears started welling up on my part more than once.
With the book until I can get a few things on order to sell on my website (there’s the whole moving in progress thing that’s happening) I’m asking people to order from their local quilt shop. If you’d like a signed copy purchase from Poppy Quilt & Sew here in Georgetown and I’ll sign them or ask your quilt shop to have it shipped to me and we’ll get the book to you as soon as possible.
