Celebration!

Ljo leichteast night I had the privilege of having dinner with Jo Leichte. I got to know Jo years ago through BERNINA. She has recently joined the ranks of the Floriani Education team, so bonus!, we’re now coworkers. Having dinner together felt like a celebration. Would you like to see what we tried?

cheese with bugsWhy yes, there are bugs on the cheese, properly prepared for our dining pleasure. I did try them. I’m not entirely sure I’d go out of my way to do it again, however it wasn’t bad. I did have trouble trying the ant, please don’t ask me why because I can’t really tell you. The cheese, though, outstanding. I’d have that again in a heartbeat.

kay brooks judy fredenburghKay Brooks (the K of RNK) and Judy Fredenburg, whom I’ll be working with next weekend at Sew Right in Queens, dressed up for Halloween in the booth. I’m so impressed with the skill level of the folks I’m working with. I totally need to up my game. I’m so honored to be working with this group of people. This is one of those times when words aren’t sufficient to describe the sense of connectedness I’m experiencing.

Tonight I’m going to the Awards Ceremony at Quilt Festival for the first time ever. I’m really excited, and will write a blog for GenQ in the next week or so. So, stay tuned.

I’m here at Quilt Festival in the Pinwheels Booth (900 aisle toward the back) Wednesday for preview, Thursday, and part of Friday morning.

See you there!

Teri
