We get by with a little help from our friends

A friend moved over the weekend. And I helped. Oh if only my brain could recall the commercial where the kid says, “And I helped”! She’s a bit further away, but closer to another friend of ours. Depending on traffic they’re about 90 minutes away. This is New York, there’s traffic. Eh, whatever.

Friday afternoon we drove to the new place, signed the lease, checked out the apartment drove back and then waited for her sisters to show up. Saturday and Sunday vehicles were loaded, driven, unloaded and driven back. Rinse. Repeat. There were steps up and down, up and down, up and down. By the time we were finished the second run on Sunday she was mostly moved. YAY. I’m so grateful I got to spend that time with her.

The only quilting thing I did was shoot an image of a quilt for a blog hop I’m participating in with Melanie Testa.
