The Week of Deadlines

Stitch! Stitch! Stitch!

Saturday I had a bit of a chat with my self. Self I said let’s check the stitch count on BethAnn (B 560 E)

and there it is. In case you didn’t know 3,000,000 is considered normal during the first year of ownership. I’m pushing to get there because quilting rules!

So I wondered if I could make it to 1.5 million by two o’clock.

I did.

And I know there’s another nearly 50,000 stitches on it. I didn’t check when I finished quilting last night.

I’ll bet you’re curious to see this quilt. I’m ready for you to see this quilt. We’ll both have to wait because it’s being published! Sweet. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a quilt published. Weird because I worked for a magazine. I never submitted quilts for publication in Generation Q, only articles. Because writing!

As I pulled pins out, tossing them toward the magnetic pin cushion one of them landed kind of upright, so I placed the next few upright like this. One must have fun in the sewing room.

The quilt has to go out the door Monday to arrive in time. There is a pattern to write.

And something else is due at the end of the week. So hang on for the next blog.

Happy Stitching!
